We keep same-day slots every weekday morning for people in pain. You don't need to be a patient here already, and you don't need to explain yourself. Ring when we open and we'll find you a time today.
We open at 08:30 every weekday. Monday to Friday from 08:30. Tuesday and Thursday we stay open until 19:00.
How same-day slots work.
-
We keep slots free every weekday morning for people in pain, and we don't give them away to anything else.
-
Ring 01632 960 214 when we open at half past eight and tell us it hurts.
-
We'll see you the same day, whether or not you've ever been through our door before.
You don't have to be on the plan, and you don't have to be registered with us. If something hurts, that's reason enough. If you ring later in the day and the morning slots have gone, we'll still tell you honestly what we can do, and when.
What happens when you arrive.
One of the nurses will meet you at the door and take you straight up. You won't sit in the waiting room for long.
Anna or Sam will find out what's hurting and get you comfortable first. Then we do whatever is needed to stop the pain today: sometimes that's a dressing, sometimes a filling, sometimes taking the tooth out if it can't be saved and you'd like it gone. We'll tell you the options and the cost before we touch anything.
This visit is for getting you out of pain. Anything further, we talk about another day, when you're ready and not hurting.

What an emergency visit costs.
Children are seen on the NHS, same-day visits included. For adults, an emergency visit is charged at our published private fees, and we'll tell you the cost on the phone before you come in, so there is nothing to work out while you're hurting.
If you're on the practice plan, say so when you ring. Whatever is done in the chair is agreed with you, and priced, before it happens.

If you can't wait until we open
If your face is swelling, you're finding it hard to swallow or breathe, or you've had a heavy knock to the mouth, please don't wait for us. Ring NHS 111 for out-of-hours dental help, or go to A&E if it's getting worse quickly. Then let us know, and we'll take it from there when we open.
